The technology and products

Rice meal, which we have daily, have no toxic contaminant. That is rice produced recombinant protein have neither endotoxin nor other immunologically active substances. Our main products are cytokines, scFv antibodies, serum proteins ets. Recently, we succeeded purification and production of functional human interleukin-10(IL-10) from GM rice seed. We started for providing it for market as immunological reagents. This is the first commercially available recombinant cytokin which is produced in plant seed.

Patent management

PrevenTec Inc. were licensed of following patents from National Institute of Agrobiological Sciences.

• 2) Glutelin B1 promotor
• 3) Procedure of recombinant protein accumulation in rice seed

PrevenTec Inc. is in preparation of patent for 「Development of recombinant protein manufacture processing by using GM rice seed.

Protein production service

Recently we started protein production services.　It takes one and half years for development and cultivation of F2 GM rice. Once you got F2 GM rice, you have great advantage for bulk production and reproduction of recombinant protein. We can offer either purified protein or rice seed extracts.
